Hello, my name is Francisco Marques and I am the music teacher at the Creativa. I have been studying, teaching and performing Brazilian music for 20 years. I love working with students to unlock their passion for music and I especially love teaching students to perform as a group. We put on some epic parent performances at the Creativa!
I was born in São Paulo, Brazil and raised in the United States. I received a BA in Music from Colby College and have been a member of adjunct faculty in the music department at Naropa University in Boulder, as well as faculty at the esteemed California Brazil Camp
